Position：Senior Java Engineer - Contract Position
Location：
Starting with Remote.
Option to work in New York City or Toronto after Quarantine

Experiences: 4-8 Years hands-on core Java 8+, Capital markets experience
Salary Range: 160K - 220K CAD based on experience

「岗位信息」
Responsibilities：
Write code & debug high volume, Kafka & JVM based Stateless Services
Write well-designed Unit/Mock testing suites for integrated testing
Work as part of an overall team that delivers a high velocity, horizontally scalable, message-driven, real-time Microservices for Commodity Trading Desks
Focus on building out digital experiences for Capital Market systems using industry-standard technologies and best practices
Ensure design aspects are met, and CIAD pipelines utilized
Run Sprints, interact with Business users directly and participate in project roadmap & provide feedback
Required Skills：
Proven 4 to 8+ years of hands-on experience with core Java 8/above -Function, Generics, Threads, Collections, Future, etc
Proficient in server-side Java programming and understanding of Java Memory Model, Transactions
Strong experience in developing Microservices using Spring Boot (firm requirement) & Kafka (highly preferred)
Work experience with Java Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
Proficient in working with SQL (Oracle, Sybase)
NoSQL Databases (ElasticSearch, Cassandra, etc.) is highly preferable
Experience with Linux Scripts and/or Python
Capital markets experience (e.g., downstream trade feeds)
