Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the wonders of Chemistry and
Biology? Do you thrive in both in-person and virtual learning environments? We are looking
for an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our dynamic educational
team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Chemistry and
Biology at the high school level.
• Utilize virtual learning platforms and digital tools effectively for instruction and
assessment.
• Facilitate and supervise virtual science labs and simulations, ensuring hands-on,
inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and contribute to the school
community.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education with a focus on Chemistry and/or Biology.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a related science subject at the high school
level.
• Proficient in technology-enhanced instruction, including experience with virtual labs
and e-learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Labster, etc.).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is an asset.
